Ceremonies and Ritual

How I work with sacred ceremonies.
My approach is to teach and empower people to create their own ceremonies, work with their own symbols, celebrate their own lives and communities and explore their own spirituality without being held to account by priests and gurus.
When devising a ceremony with somebody, we have a series of meetings to elicit their sense of meaning, spirituality, traditions and personal symbolism. As much as possible I pass on my knowledge about ritual structure and my own experience; together we create a unique and personal ceremony.
I see this as a process of facilitation, so I call myself a ritual facilitator. My core aim is to pass on to people the confidence and knowledge to empower them to solemnise their own life transitions and celebrations.
I began designing and facilitating rituals and performing the role of Master of Ceremonies over 2 decades ago. Many of these ceremonies have been in an indoor setting, but due to my love of nature I have developed a specialism for outdoor nature-oriented rituals.
